The Visa Platinum Avion card by RBC is a flexible travel rewards card that allows you to redeem your points on any airline. The card has a high rate of interest, high annual fees, low payment grace period and lots of insurance benefits.

With this rewards card, redeem your points on any airline without fear of blackout periods or seat capacity restrictions. Points are earned on a one to one ratio with each dollar spent on purchases only. Earn 15,000 bonus points upon succesful enrollment and an additional 2500 points after the first year upon card renewal. Points can be exchanged for Esso Extra points, Asia Miles, or BA Miles.

This Visa Card includes almost all available insurance benefits including car rental insurance, travel accident insurance, purchase protection / extended warranty, flight delay and lost baggage coverage. Optional travel medical insurance and balance protection insurance can be added for additional fees.
